Real Women Real Triumph - Aideen
Hi, I’m Aideen, a wife and mum of two from Dublin
How did you feel before you started using Triumph?
I felt terrible before I started using Triumph. I was tired, irritable, really hormonal. Just didn't feel like myself. I sort of felt at least 10 days out of every month I felt like me, but things would come out of my mouth and I felt like I don’t know where that came from. I just felt so narky. I figured something has to be out there that can help me feel a little bit more human all of the days of the month as opposed to maybe two-thirds of the month.
Have you ever felt overwhelmed about what supplements to buy?
Yes! I've been to the health food shop; I’ve been to the pharmacy and checked online. I’ve done all sorts of research monthly supplement-wise. You name it, I’ve tried it. I tried everything from vitamin B, vitamin C, D, Evening Primrose Oil, all of those things and I was so overwhelmed. I felt like there has to be something simpler because I'm taking so many tablets every day. Some tablets were like three in a day, some had to be taken with every meal. If I didn’t take them in the morning, I just wouldn’t bother then for the rest of the day then because I felt like I was swallowing loads of tablets. I had blister packs rammed full of vitamins and I would try to take them but generally, if I didn’t take them after my breakfast in the morning, that was it. I wouldn’t bother for the rest of the day. It was just too many to take!
Why did you choose to start taking Triumph monthly cycle supplement?
I had seen the supplement online less than a year ago. I thought ‘I must research them’. I had ended up at a specialist because I had really bad periods. I was on the pill and it was making no difference to me at all. I was having spotting and bleeding mid-month, some months for two-thirds of the month. My GP told me to stay on the pill and she referred me to a specialist. He basically told me “This is it. This is the way it is. This is the way your monthly period works. Keep taking your pill because if you come off at it's going to be worse”
I did that for another couple of months and then I decided “No”, that nothing was changing, nothing was any better. It was not normal how I felt. I felt really low. I got a lot of pains, a lot of aches, really heavy periods, still getting spotting through the month when I shouldn't have been so I decided to come off the pill and decided to get my hormones checked to see if it would make any difference. So, before I decided to get my hormones checked I remembered about Triumph. I said, “Ok I'm going to try a month of them because what’s the worst that can happen?”. Within 2 weeks I had bought my second box and I now wouldn't be without it.
In those first two weeks, what did you notice first that made a difference with Triumph?
I noticed my energy levels definitely much more levelled. I wasn't as tired; I definitely wasn't as irritable. I normally got pains in my chest, pains under my arms or in my ovaries. Within 2 days of starting to take them the pains had all lessened. So, I decided straight away to give it another few months and see how much better I could feel overall because I felt so much better in the first couple of weeks.
Who recommended it to you? Did you come across the product in-store or online?
I saw it online and I had seen it on a couple of social media influencers pages. Then I had seen it through a pharmacy that I follow online that I trust their content and what they sell, so I said I'd give it a try.
What benefits have you noticed since you started taking the product?
I’ve noticed so many benefits since I started taking Triumph. I'm definitely less tired, I feel like my mood and my energy has levelled over all over the month. I definitely feel like I have a lot more energy. Normally I try to go to the gym 2/3 times a week. I’d normally have a week just before my period and during my period and I'm exhausted and I just don't have the energy. Whereas I found over the last two months I’ve managed my gym days no problem at all. I'm sleeping better and my appetite is definitely better.
I’d normally get a day where there’s not enough food in the world just to keep me full, I’m just starving all day long. Then I’d normally have a day, a couple of days later where I just can’t even stomach food, just the smell just makes me feel so sick. My appetite has levelled. Basically, I feel human and like myself throughout the month as opposed to for two-thirds of the month and then I’d feel pretty crap and then back to myself again once my period was gone, that’s gone!
How are your energy levels now?
Definitely, so much better, I feel like my energy levels have levelled. I don’t feel as tired as I used to. I'm sleeping better, my energy is so much better, I feel like my energy has levelled, I don't feel like I have the tired sluggish days that I used to. Because I sleep better, I wake up in the mornings and I’m not unbearable pre caffeine as I used to be before I started taking the supplements. I’m normally awake now before my two children which is a miracle, normally I’m dragged out of bed in the morning for the school runs!
I feel like I have more energy to go for a walk and to do things in the afternoons with the kids. Everything feels easier. I feel like I'm on top of the housework and I do a bit of work for my husband as well. Everything feels like it's much simpler and I don't feel as overwhelmed by things as I used to be.
Have you noticed improvements in your hair, skin and nails?
My hair has started to grow! My sister does my hair for me and I thought she was going to kill me the last time I was going to get my hair done, I thought I had all this ‘broken hair’ on the top of my head, so when I went to get it done a couple of weeks ago, she checked it, turns out its actually all-new hair! Every section has new hair growing. My eyebrows have started to thicken up and I'm from the day of no eyebrows, from the ’90s where we had nothing left! Whereas now all my eyebrow hair has started to grow back. My nails are growing much quicker. I have definitely noticed a massive difference and for that alone I take them.
How are your Moods? Do you feel more balanced?
My mood since I started to take Triumph is so much better. Normally I would know 10 days prior to my period when I'm due my period because my mood would start to slip a little. I'd start to get more tired; I’d feel really irritable. I’d start to feel quite anxious for no reason at all and I specifically noticed this month because I have an app on my phone and when I logged onto the app and checked, it told me that I was due my period in 5-days and I didn't actually know! I didn’t know it was coming. Whereas beforehand, I would know first 10 days prior that it was starting. I didn’t have that for the first proper time this month.
What else did you notice first and over the coming months?
The first month I took Triumph I noticed my energy had been boosted straightaway. My mood had levelled definitely within the first couple of weeks and then by the second month, I had no symptoms! I didn't actually know that I was due my period in 5-days when beforehand it would have been 10 days prior. I definitely felt an initial boost two weeks to 10 days. Within the first month my mood as levelled. now my energy levels have levelled, and I overall feel so much more balanced and that’s within just 2 months.
With my hair, skin and nails, I had noticed within 6 weeks of taking the supplement that my hair was growing because I initially thought that it was broken and damaged, but it was actually all fresh regrowth!
Has anyone else noticed a difference in you since taking Triumph?
Yes, they’ve definitely have noticed a difference since I started to take Triumph. I was talking to my husband last night before coming to do this today and I said to him “I’m going to tell them I'm no longer unbearable at the time of the month anymore” and I laughed thinking he’d say “Aideen don’t be ridiculous, you weren’t that bad.”
And his response was “Definitely, definitely tell them that.” That's definitely a really good endorsement for the product - my husband no longer wants to be without me for 10 days prior to my period!!
My sister does my hair, she has noticed the regrowth in my hair and she also does my eyebrows and beauty treatments. When I went to her a few weeks ago to get my eyebrows done she was shocked!
She said, “When did we last do these eyebrows Aideen?” I was like “It’s not even 4 weeks, they’re not that bad” Normally my hair growth is very light and I could go two months without having to get my eyebrows threaded, it was less than 4 weeks and she gave out to me for not being there sooner!
She has definitely noticed, and I would say my sisters and my kids have noticed that I have more energy and I’m more willing to do things and go places. I'm not so reluctant anymore. Normally if I know my period is coming, I know I'm going to be tired. I know I'm not going to be that interested in doing anything or going anywhere. I can't wait to get out into the fresh air and go for the walk and use the energy that I now have but I didn't have before.
How long have you been taking Triumph?
I've seen such a difference. I've never been without it now and I've only been on it for over 2 months. I have noticed such a difference that I would never, ever be without it now.
What's your Triumph routine?
I get up in the morning, I have my cup of coffee before my eyes are even open, get the kids to school. I come home, have my breakfast. Then as soon as I’m finished my breakfast, I take my Triumph, my supplement. I never ever forget it. I think because they’re numbered, it makes it easier. I don’t have to think “Oh God, am I taking today’s or yesterdays?”
Because with other supplements, I would take one of one supplement and think “Oh God, I’d have to take three so when will I take them? Or I’d have to go to the afternoon to take a second one. I can’t remember what I had taken beforehand.
It's quick and simple. It's one and done!
Does Triumph take the confusion out of supplements?
100-percent It’s taken the confusion out of supplements.
It's one tablet, one sachet and it works!
I have tried stuff from the chemist. I've tried alternative remedies. I've tried stuff I've seen other people on Instagram say works for them and none of it worked. I ended up with a massive range of supplements that take over the entire kitchen counter. Boxes and boxes of stuff and it cost so much money! I just thought I'll try anything if it worked. So, I was willing to do whatever I had to. I’ve seen people doing seed cycling and all kinds of mad things to make themselves feel human from one end of the month to the other. I didn't know what to be taking.
I love that it’s made in Ireland. I try as much as I can to buy Irish products. I just think it's so amazing. I think it's amazing that it's created by two women. With so many amazing Irish women in this country that do such great things. I feel really passionate about that it's an Irish product.
Do you find Triumph convenient to take?
Yes, it’s really convenient, really easy because I take it after my breakfast. It’s part of my routine now every day. One tablet, one drink and I don't have to think about it again until the next day.
Will you continue to take Triumph monthly cycle supplement?
I will absolutely continue to take Triumph Monthly Cycle Supplement. I would never be without this supplement now. It has made such a difference to my overall well-being. I feel so much better since I started to take it. I will never be without it now.
Would you recommend Triumph to a friend?
Yes, I have recommended it to basically anybody who will listen, anybody I’ve met in the last month, I’ve told them! I think it just becomes so normal for people to feel rubbish, to feel tired, to have pains and aches, to just be irritable and generally unhappy for so many days of the month, well that's just the way it is. I went to a specialist and he told me “That's just how your body works so take your tablets and be on your way”. I'm so glad I found this, and it has made such a difference.
Does Triumph make you feel happier?
Triumph definitely makes me feel happier because my mood is level and I feel good every day I wake up. I sleep better. I'm much happier and ready to take on the day when I get up in the morning. I feel better in myself and I definitely would say that it has made me happier!
